    Hey everyone,
Many film buffs out there? I'm trying to get the name of a black and white film I remember seeing quite a while ago. It's going to sound vague, but please let me know if you can remember the title of the movie.
I think the film title had something to do with parachutes
Last scene of the movie is after being on a hill, this GI is by himself in the jungle. He fires in all directions at the Japanese. He looks at his thompson and throws it down, going to the .30cal (maybe it was a .50) and the movie fades with him doing shooting back.

Yes, it's a shot in the dark, but I haven't seen it in 20 or so years and it's bugging the hell out of me. Thanks!
