    Hello guys.
As a beginner impressionist, I was wondering how M1 Riflemen during D-Day, Market Garden, Bulge, and Germany held all their webbing together.
The main question I have is how did they wear their musette bags? Did they attach them to their suspenders or did they hang them around their shoulders with the straps?

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Add to what you see there a parachute and a Mae West vest. They didn't wear the reserve parachutes. There wasn't enough time to deploy them after jumping for them to do any good.
