Johann was born on July 5th 1922 in Asten, Austria. He served in the Kriegsmarine with the 57. Vorpostenflottille and was the rank of Matrosenobergefreiter. He was killed in action on May 15th 1944 in Trondheim, Norway. I’m unsure how he was killed.

My grandfather was in Norway during the war too, he was also part of the German army stationed but I am unsure where. Information is a little hard to find. If you have any other information about Norway that would be amazing. He was part of the signal corps I believe connected to the the Löwengeschwader battalion (I believe)
