Does anyone offer a 1/64 scale cckw 2 1/2 ton cargo truck, the Johnny Lightening ones are out of production and I only have one of them. Is there an alternative? I remember Roco used to have trucks in their line, trucks anyone anyone?

Do you mean the ready-made metal models, or model kits?

I think that companies like Corgi or Matchbox (or whatever they are called now!) produce such models...

If you will be satisfied with 1/72 kits of James i would reccomend Academy kit (steel cab, winch or no winch, parts for the engine and also includes some accesories (MG's, barrels...)). Airfix/Heller is also good (one of few new kits in recent years) but it has some minor difficoulties (rims os front wheels have 5 holes not 6 in them). Also PST produces nice kit but which demand some work. Hasagawa kit is now totaly outdated & outclassed.

    PST also produces Studbacker

Comparison rewiev of AER/Cooperativa, PST, Hasagawa, Airfix kits:
