Well, this might be a first timer :p
The guys who are fans of the genre will understand the post ;)

I'm interested in underground black metal bands, that are dealing with WW2 themes. But i do not mean NS bands, i know plenty of those.Something not NS would be a nice change..

Something like Harza [RUS] ( Harza on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads )

If anyone knows bands like these, or even understands what i am writing about, post here ;)
    Cheers!

Fully understand your request, but got nothin' for ya. Listen to a fair bit of the older norewegian stuff- Darkthrone, some Mayhem, Carpathian Forest, etc. Newer "grey" stuff too, like Wolves in the Throne Room.

There is the Darkthrone album "Panzerfaust", but I don't think there's actually any WW2 themes.

Ever heard of Sabaton? They're a Swedish band who sing every song about WW2.

I got a couple of bands for you guys..if you're interested ofcourse.
This is the real underground stuff...
First of all you can try hundreds of NS (national socialism, nazi ) bands, which, if you ignore the political stuff, are 90% WW2 based.

    Ad Arma
    Aryan Kampf 88
    Asgeirr
    Hexenkreis
    Nachtkult
Einsatzgruppe (extreme underground, no contact, nothing  )
    Truppensturm
    Wintergewitter
    Ziontod

These are just a couple, there are dozens of good bands..
And here are a couple of NOT NS bands, which are really rare

Minenwerfer (extremely good band, themes are WW1 )
Harza (everyone say theyre ns, but they are not)

and a couple of Martial Ambient bands (which are 90% WW2 themed)

    Arditi
    Toroidh
    Ich Hatt Einen Kammeraden
    The Pride of Wolves
    Striider
    Strydwolf
    Triarii

    and tons more.
Go listen to all of these, you wont regret it!
    Cheers :fuhrerwein:

Yeah, see, would rather avoid the Nazi bands. It doesn't matter if you ignore their hate messages or politics - thats what their music is all about and I don't support that at all. They can rot in hell for all I care. :pzp:

Bands like Sabaton, on the other hand, are good music and good lyrics. Focus on WW2, but not singing praises about the Nazis. Otto (the forum owner) actually mentioned them to me which is how I heard about them.

I dont like the NS bands, either...
but if they are not 'mentioning' nazism too much (many of them dont) i can ignore that side of it, and enjoy in the ww2 side of it (many of those bands are called War Black metal because of it :D)
Sabaton i heard many times, and totaly respect their lyrics. Especially - Screaming Eagles ,that one is good.
But i dont like that style of metal.
Only raw, primitive black metal art :D

Just listen to this thing, masterpiece:

Yeah...i find that style of music to be pretty crap, honestly. I wouldn't even call it music. There is nothing musical about screaming. To each their own.
