    Agreed, US Army. Definitely not USPS. USPS Carrier uniform from 1940s is second from the left:

    Early Army. He has a belt on his shoulder. Early 4 pocket uniform coats had a bi-swing back and belt ramps in the rear like German coats. Rich A. in Pa.
