WW2Talk.com is now part of the World War II Network! It was quite a whirlwind day, I had no intention of doing anything special when I woke up this morning, but the situation presented itself and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I'm still running back and forth taking care of the details, I'll let you all know more information as we move forward!

This is very good news. WW2Talk is another forum covering WW2, but it doesn't entirely overlap ww2f. It has a somewhat more British slant for some reason I can't explain, and there is a very strong section dedicated to the Holocaust.

Natives are very friendly over there, I am a member since Feb 2006 with almost 1000 posts, and I'm happy to say I get along famously well with everybody.

I see no conflict in belonging to both forums (heck, I could belong in a few more if I had the time for it :) ) due to the differences in character between. As a matter of fact there are more than a few members here with a foot on the other boat already, some started from here, others started from there. The more the merrier!

    Thanks Slip & Za!

You hit it on the head Za, similar but different in key ways. WW2F is more of an international forum, with fewer members, but higher post counts. WW2T is UK centric, has about 4 times as many members with about a third less posts. They are of course other differences, but these are the most obvious. All members are welcome to join either site as it suits them. I'm looking forward to all the learning and information sharing that will take place at these to sites!

I hang out at WW2talk to learn about the British military, of which I am notoriously ignorant about. I hope to learn from them.

I must say that this is all very interesting - I'd never heard of WW2Talk but that's not surprising as I'm really only a WW2Forums sort of guy......;)

But I think I might not post too much, as it is the third Forum I'm a member of, and there is also an old enemy of mine there. No names mentioned, but he's from another site.

WW2Talk.com is down, there are a bunch of scripts that worked on the old server that didn't agree to well with the new one. I'm working on the problem
and will have it fixed as soon as I can.

Otto, I'm glad it is you dealing with and not me.

Computers are the realm of Satan. You will note that I spend a good portion of my day in that realm, judging by my profession.
