    Excellent character speaks volumes. Those in combat would not have faired well without the support men like this provided. We can't all be Rambos. :)

    Apparently grandpa had a heart condition and was discharged after one month. In WWII, my dad was in the 1st Ranger Btn and then the FSSF so our family did their part.
