X-Troop, German Commandoes in Allied service ?

    X-Troop was the No.3 Troop of No.10 ( Inter Allied ) Commando. No.3 troop was made up of refugees from Axis countries, not necessarily Germans.

    Well, that is all I´ve managed to dig up so far. :-?

    This was information not easy to come by, but now I know a lot more.

    No.3 Troop Inter Allied Command were indeed mostly Germans and Austrians, and they did see a lot of action. They were also all Jews. I have yet to find out their complete operational history, but at least elements of No.3 Troop saw action in the Dieppe raid and in Walcheren.

    Dieppe, eh? They must have really enjoyed *that* particular experience... :roll:
