    Sorry, can't help you there. The Yamatos are really very complicated in the middle with all that AA artillery and parafernalia.

    I wish you good luck in your quest, I'm sure we have another of your fine drawings in the pipeline ;)

    I assume you already know of the excellent 'anatomy of the ship' series, the one on the Yamato is a pretty good price on Amazon at the moment:Amazon.co.uk: yamato anatomy & if I remember right from my father's copy, should have everything you need.

    There is also an interactive anatomy here that might help:
    NOVA | Sinking the Supership | Anatomy of Yamato | PBS seems it might have some of the views you're looking for, and there is a printable version.

    What a ship. I'd think its safe to say it was the king of all battleships.
