I got the above message when I tried to report a spam. Could be it's already deleted but ... Odd message in any case unless I'm no longer able to report spams.

Spams are probably moved into a stalag only staff can see.

If it's only happened the once, it's most likely reporting just as it was being removed. Page can still be visible until refreshed.

    Test by reporting another post.

@lwd, Opana & von are correct.

I've been dumping a large amount of spammy posts out of the public forums into a hidden spam closet. I've been doing a lot of this lately, so it's very likely you reported something I already removed.

Looks like I can report other spams so I must have caught the one in transition.

I'm going on the assumption that reporting them helps. If you are keeping close enough watch it may just be more noise / work for you and I'll stop if you want me to.

They do all seem to be similar. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same spammer. Anyway to block it?

Indeed you can, and please keep doing so. Kill-on-site order in full effect.

I nail them to advertising billboards along the Appian Way.

Set your phaser on kill and leave the smoking hulks where others can see them. (By the way, can I get my banning ability back?)

After posting a thread earlier, I'm now getting a message saying "you have insufficient privileges to post in this forum" everywhere.
    Who did I annoy?

What forum Gordon? There are some places on I can post (WWII Forums News) or start threads: (Otto's Logbook), other than that you should have an open ocean for posting.

Sorry Otto, it was WW2F. I managed to post in the military history bit earlier, but now none of them show a reply or create thread button. Except this one, for some strange reason?

Sorry Gordon, I didn't ask that question well. I've been dealing with an ear infection that is keeping me up and distracting my concentration.

I meant to ask what specific sub-forum on WW2F did it happen? If you post a link to the thread I might be able to take a deeper dive into the problem.

Still lots of spam threads visable in 'General Discussion' forum. I haven't been here for awhile & there are spam threads still showing from 18th & 19th November.
Am reporting them but need to wait 30 seconds between each report.

That wait can be a bit annoying. I can see why there is some delay I guess but a shorter one would be nice.

It's actually all of them. Just discovered that if I go to the last post in a thread, I can reply to someone else's post, but I can't create any new threads for some reason.
Other than that, it always says (You have insufficient privileges to post here) at the bottom of the page.

Thanks O, had not seen those as yet. I've binned them all now.
