    well, what are they?

Mine has got to be the CVR(T) Scorpion. Fast, and with a decent gun, It also looks good . I just dont think the Modern tanks look good, but this is an exeption

'Modern', as in 'post WW2' Joe? I assume so as CVR(t) originates from the 60's.
So, nice one for saying 'favourite' rather than 'best', which allows me to go for the FV214 Conqueror, Over the top but strangely magnificent:

Though she jostles for position with FV4007 Centurion (any mark... but 1 for prefence)

and the rather more peculiar/unique FV4401 Contentious

I reserve the right to have a completely different set of favourites next week. ;)

    Cheers,
    Adam.

I always was intrigued by the low profile of the Stridsvagn (S-Tank)

I have never seen that FV4401 Contentious before...interesting design as well!

It was not only in movies but have you seen the footage of it on the various "Police Chase" videos from when that guy stole one a few years ago and went through LA and flattened all those cars and RV's. Good thing he did not get any ammo.

I remember that. That made a mess of LA. Now I Know this tank was in actual combat. How about the others? I would be interested on how they performed in combat.

Something deeply pleasing about the M60, from that era before they all really started looking like hyper-efficient wedge shaped engines of death.
    Still a touch of class.

I do like this new Russian beast too, a sort of SU152x2:

That's that mocked up T80 they displayed isn't it.
Wonder if we'll ever see a real one?, I get the impression things have moved on somewhat since that project.
