Unpublished 503rd PIR photos

Unpublished photos of the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment. These are the guys who jumped into Corregidor during liberation.

I take it back. Apparently they're in the Corregidor/503rd website. So technically they've been published.

these are all from the 503rd PIR in World War 2 before there was a 173rd Airborne Brigade...but these photos are relevant because the 503rd PIR is the Infantry component of the Modern and Vietnam era 173rd Airborne Brigade. Famous for its assault on the island of Corrigedor AKA the Rock in the the Phillipines during the battle of Manila.

Most of these pics are from the battle of corrigedor..some are also from some of the other battles the 503rd was involved in
