I did at one time have some materials on the members of the units shown. Can someone please ID the RK winner and the unit with the camo'd Stug III, Ausf G in the background, am thinking this is western front but maybe it isn't ? Also it appears we have members from two different units, black collar/skull patches of a Pz.jagd plus Stug Abt/Brigade as well ? thank you.
No Ulrich the black collar patch with skull and it had most likely pink Waffenfarbe for a Panzer-jadg Kp ? but then again if it was outlined in red it would be from an independent Stug Kp/Abt. confusing it is. Definitely Heer though.
Georg served on the Ost front for his career and I can only assume the members here due to broken branches on the Stug might be somewhere in France ? 1944. still it could be Ost front as well.

Ulrich it appears this might be the only pic of him wearing the RK as he achieved the award and within 2 months KIA even die-sturmartilliere seite does not have a foto of him. I may just send this on to him ....... ?
hey guys, could this have been a staged propaganda photo? i mean those 3 guys standing back over by the tube looking slighty bored gives me that impression
