View attachment 15277 I hope it's large enough to see but It's a crowned anchor, with two crossed rifles and wings. It appears to be Royal Navy to me, but I am unsure.
It appears to be something to do with Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm. Except for the crossed rifles, it seems to be like the Pilot designation. I'll keep looking. Ranks, Badges and Pay in the Royal Navy in World War 2
Welcome, we like a challenge here! I think it may be Canadian but no where sure of that. I found similar multiple symbol ie crossed rifles, Wings and Anchor at this site: Canadian Forces Badge Tri-Service
The closest I found was Belgium but even then that was a miss. It may very well be some manner of "SeAL" insignia beings it is similar to the US Navy SeAL's breast badge, and it incorporates: Sea, Air and Land warfare symbols. The attachment looks like it would be for some type of head wear. Good Luck!!!
The rifle anchor and wing symbol are prossibly assossiated with the Marines aeronavale from a European monarchy , Belgium is a good lead . In this case I would be looking in the "aeronavale de l'infanterie de Marine Royale Belge" direction.
Skip: Searched that and wiki came up with Moroco, another very close miss. I wonder if it is associated with the one time Belgian Congo?
