    I can't help but feel this might appeal to some of you chaps.
    I'd certainly never seen it before despite an interest in C16th weapons.
    Can it really be 1597?..
    Brave man to fire it I feel. Nine irregular loadings and contemporary metallurgy just waiting for a rather impressive flash-over. Careful with that beeswax.

    Anyway, I want it.

    That's a very old pistol, considering that DaVinci invented the wheellock in 1507. I think I agree with Gordon that I think I'd hire someone else to pull the trigger, preferably while I was well away.
