    Hi Folks

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to put this item.
Anyway, while out walking in the Kentish countryside I came across a metal object. I have no idea what it is or where it came from. It may or may not have a connection to WW2 and aircraft but any help in identifying the part would be very much appreciated. The piece is about 75mm overall length and the body diameter about 20mm. The overall width measured over the fins is about 50mm. I have attached some photos which hopefully show the markings as well.

    Cheers

    Derek

Interesting find but I have no clue! I'm sure someone here will ID it though. Welcome to the forum by the way.

Differing number of holes between the two. Would that be an issue?
