heard it this morning and really sad to hear about it..... R.I.P. Lemmy!!

I'm not a Motorhead fan, but I'm sad to hear a fellow rocker died.

 

He was also a German militaria collector.

 

I know he was wearing an Iron Cross at the concerts but didn't know he was a collector.

 

If you check for his interviews , you may find him next to his frame of daggers . there are also pictures of Lemmy posing next to a tank.

Was never a fan of Motorhead nor heavy metal but there is no denying that Lemmy was a true entertainer.

He was indeed a keen militaria collector. There was a program on UK television a few years ago that featured some of his collection including a vast array of Nazi memorabilia.

I always loved the way he would start his concert with a laconic "Hi we are Motorhead and we play Rock & roll" just in case someone came here to listen to a Mozart concert.
