It's very nice to meet you Brittany. It is a general custom to introduce yourself to a group before you start asking for information. Information is widely guarded in this hobby as places like this forum are full of thieves, crooks & down right dishonest people. I'd like to know who I am talking to and who I am sharing my knowledge with...now that you have shared a bit about yourself and not just asked about values I will let you know what you have.

Your Iron Cross 2nd class is 100% original. The maker is not '94' as you are describing...but rather '24'...this was the working Prans. # for a working co-operative in Hanau - Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plakettenhersteller. The 'WP' that you are referring to is actually a 'WR'...although little is actually known about this marking it is widely believed that this additional 'WR' marking was the marking from an individual jeweler from within the co-operative.

You have a nice original Iron Cross 2nd class...and a very rare variant at that. As to the value...someone else will have to help you out with that.

Forgive us for being a little 'scratchy' Brittany - we've been 'used' by a number of people here lately who who sadly are far less gracious than you....

You are not going to find your variant listed anywhere...if and when they are ever listed for sale they will be snapped up by those in the know. Let's say that an average EK2 sales for $150.00...you'd probably see this variant sell for somewhere in the neighborhood of $200.00. It's a great and a rarely encountered variant...but it will not make you rich.
