To be brutually honest, I find the medal of honour games rather dull, they seem to rehash the same stereotypes and tired engines. Just imo
I enjoyed Allied Assault, but agree with the last poster that they seem very sripted now compared to next gen games. As an avid gamer what I would really love is a decent strategy game covering the whole of WWII from the invasion of Poland to the fall of Japan - a chance to change the course of the war, see if I can do better (without cheating) :thumb: Anyone know of one, or one that is in development?
"Rising Sun" was the end for me, terrible. Kelly gave me a game called "Company Of Heroes" which I think might be along the lines you describe. Problem is my computer won't play it ! I have just bought a high-end gamers graphics card & it can't even handle CoD2 or UO !:wtf:  :botman:
Call Of Duty for me, all of them.:thumb: But that Company Of Heroes is also excellent, if a little hard
Aye, i have to go with Allied Assault also as it was the only one i did try .. :silly: Thou if i am honest here i would say the S/Player in MOHAA was as tough if not tougher than C.O.D :thumb: COD4 out very soon ..
An all time classic was return to Castle Wolfenstein - it was the first WW2 Shoot Em Up I played, and apart from the Zombies (which spoilt it) it was fantastic. I'll have a look at Company of Heores - cheers :thumb:
