There are a few pieces in my collection that I hope will be passed down through many generations in my family. The Goring Cup is one of those pieces. It was given to Lt. Col. Lee E. Jones who belonged to the Chemical Warfare group. The cup has the Goring Crest and at the bottom the battles that the 101st participated in during WW2. I love the patina and the look of the cup.. Hope you enjoy the pictures and questions are always welcomed.

A minor note. It was the Chemical Warfare Service in World War II, not "Group". I cannot find a Lee E. Jones in the Army Register, so it is likely he was not RA, but AUS. I'm also not sure how he would be affiliated with the 101st, although it is likely he was assigned as the divisional Chemical Officer. He does not appear in Rendezvous with Destiny and i cannot find another reference to his sadly all too common name.
