    Best was early war Warner Bros Studio which, fearing it would be bombed, had a big arrow on its roof and the words, "Lockeed thataway!" Neither Lockeed nor the War Department were amused and Warner Bros painted over it.

    Post-war army field manuals on camouflage simply define it as "large-scale camouflage." I made a thread about it before. Looks like a big fire hazard, in my opinion.
