    water mark

Some times I get it right but so hit and miss I don't know how I did it!
I have a 'Lexmark series 'All in One' scanner printer, also as some of my old photos are from various sources, ie. old army mates from over the past years I probably won't bother!
The photo below is from the Shandur tank range in Egypt where we first tested the Comets 77mm. on WW2 hulks, note the 'Rommel' type goggles on beret, definitely a 'poser' pic!
(Unfortunately the photographer missed the 'tankies' low slung 'Smith and Wesson .38 on left hip!!!)

    Looks good.

One small thing, though - I don't want to rain on your parade, but using 'Copyright' is wrong. You don't own the copyright to the photographs, since you didn't take them, and writing so could be considered plagiarism. It is more correct to write 'Collection of' (which would in fact also give you some copyright protection, since it is possible to own the copyright to a collection of works whose parts you don't own the copyright to).

    Libya

Well David, there's always been a bit of doubt about it, bear in mind Gadafi was not around, it was King Idris of the Senusi (spelling?), no oil, or if there was it was kept quiet, it was just prior to ending the mandate in Palestine. We were told we were there for 'Desert Rescue' of air liners. We had trucks with black and white chequered tops, loads of water wagons and we did lots of desert schemes. Why? no idea, quite frankly at 19 years old you don't bother much, just like a big game. Our officers went hunting on Sunday mornings, we had a pack of hounds and a 'Dog Man'.We had three grades of POW's. (German) some lived on our camp, worked in cook house, very little watching, second grade did a bit of manual work with guards, but the top grade, SS and political either stayed in their compound or did mine clearing under guard. Arrogant lot, wore white tent canvas Afrika Korps type caps with home made badges from aircraft aluminium with 'Independant German Mine Clearence Afrika' stamped on them, they made us the same white caps but the RSM saw a driver wearing one in Benghazi and it got stopped, said we looked like the F****** Afrika Korps!!!!
But all in all was a bloody good training ground, still loads of war time junk around with mine fields and ammo every where.
