I have been thinking about all the American commands lately for radio messages, and was wondering what the German ones were. Starting with the whole "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrott, etc." Did the German's use a form of communication like this, if so, what were they?

Also, what were combat terms like "I copy," "Roger," "Enemy on the ridge," "Fire mission on Hill 142," "What is enemy strength, over," etc.?

Odd question I know, but if anyone has the answers or a website I would love to hear them. I figure there are many more so if you have any to share lets hear them.

Actually this one is marginally different. I wanted to know what the actual combat commands were in the German Wehrmacht or Waffen SS. Im not looking for Phonetics actually, but regular German terms that would be used in combat.

I'm in a reenacting unit, the 25th Panzergrenadier Division and I do a vast majority of the research on historical material for our unit. We do this for authenticity's sake and for our own knowledge. I have loads and loads more of this information if you are interested. Just let me know what you are looking for!
