German parade bayonet

    My great uncle herman picked up this bayonet in Italy. I guess there was a German parade of sorts when they attacked. The Germans dropped as much of their gear as possible and hightailed it out of there. I was curious if anyone knows what division or unit this bayonet belongs to?

    It is just a regular dress bayonet. Rich A. in Pa.

    So its just an infantrymans bayonet?

    Common Infantry Dress Bayonet. Looks like the long type. Rich A. in Pa.
