    That was a great issue, the parody of General George S, Put*On of the movie “Patton” was a classic.

    "Wire"

    No doubt the word "wire" appears many times, but in this case the character's entire line was just the one word.

    I almost want to say "Gallipoli", but it could be any WWI movie. "1917"?

    As a friend of mine used to say (probably still does) good guess. Wrong, but a good guess ;) Not trigger wire, trip wire, anything like that.

    When they were on the bottom, trying to make repairs, they were searching the boat for wire to connect together the undamaged cells in the battery. Finally a crewman comes into the control room with a coil of it and says "Wire".
