    Here's another item I found today while searching CARL -- Pocket Book of the German Army, 1943.

    Per the abstract:
    It's sort of the Cliff's Notes of the German Army. :D

    Looks like part of the Handbook on German Military Forces. That was a compilation of these kind of thing.

    Sweet find, I have a couple of similar ones from the German and French armies . They copycatted each other quite a lot those days .

    I was pleasantly surprised when I came across it. I was even more surprised that someone here hadn't found it and posted it.

    I guess the old saying is true: "Even a blind squirrel...". :D
