    Heya, Moderator Diablo here.

Seeing that there were so many history quizes on facts, I here have
decided to put a riddle section. So, think of the hardest, mind-numbing
riddles you can think of. Once there have been 10 guesses on a riddle,
the riddle-creatorium (new word!!:)) will get to tell the answer
and give someone else a try at making a riddle. Lets keep this one going.

    I'll start off:

There once was a rich man
    Who had a grand feast.
    He invited his sister,
his friend and his friends wife.
At the end of the feast,
    there were only 3 pies,
    and the knife was gone.
How did they all each get some pie?

Note: The answer has nothing to do with dividing or cutting the pies, this is a major hint.

Either that or he didn't like one of the guests and used the knife to stab one of them to death :D . Probably wouldn't be considered a very gracious host though...

    Here it comes...!

I am the center of gravity, hold a capital situation in Vienna, and as I am foremost in every victory, am allowed by all to be invaluable. Though I am invisible, I am clearly seen in the midst of a river. I could name three who are in love with me and have three associates in vice. It is vain that you seek me for I have long been in heaven yet even now lie embalmed in the grave. What am I?

Your idea of simple and mine are completely different. I thought the first two were quite easy....but this!

It's probably one of those riddles that will make me go "....doh!!!" when I find out the answer.

When one does not know what it is, then it is something; but when one knows what it is, then it is nothing.
