Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Yanks. Got the ham and the fixings and got to watch the World Cup. Hope we beat England tomorrow.

    Happy Thanksgiving.
Worked on carving out a wooden Maple Burl bowl, took a snowmobile ride through the woods and generally just enjoyed retirement in the northern section of the US.
Getting set for supper and some pumpkin pie !

And Australia made an impact this year...

    A real Australian Blue Healer...

We also have a Red healer...Confusingly to visitors to Australia, anybody with red hair is commonly called bluey...

Not to be mistaken for another Australian breed the Kelpie...in this instance a Red Kelpie...

    Healers will do sheep...

And will take on cattle also...

Remember the Blue Healer in this movie?

Happy Thanksgiving, and I saw Bluey in the Macy's Parade this year. Good doggie.

Did all the cooking this year as usual. It's my Christmas present to my wife. Her idea, and I'm a better cook than she is. (Her opinion, which I'm allowed to share.)

It was just me and my wife at my son’s house along with the two grandsons and a girlfriend who was home from college. My daughter in law was on call at the local hospital all day but my youngest grandson and his girlfriend did all the cooking. My son helped too. For some reason he bought a twenty pound turkey. He wanted a lot left over . But we had a real nice time with the family and the two Labrador retrievers. And a fire in the fireplace.
