    Hi,
I am new here, so hello to all.
I came across the information that allied prisoners of war were liberated by The Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry 1st Battalion south of Lubeck on 2nd May, 1945.
I would like to ask if anyone has the war diary of this unit of this time or if it is somewhere online. The National Archives does not have it online and getting copies from them would take an awful long time.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks.
    Best wishes.
    Leethir
