    Continued from here:

    Quiz Part IV

That last thread was getting a tad cumbersome.

A little math for those keeping count:
    Quiz I thread = 218 posts
Quiz II thread = 320 posts
Quiz III thread = 384 posts
Quiz IV thread = 371 posts
    ---------------------------
    = 1293 posts, and counting...

This is the continuation of the WWII Quiz thread. The rules are as before: To earn the right to pose a question, you must be the first to answer the current question correctly. You must however wait for confirmation that you are correct before you can ask your question.

I'm not sure who is up next...

    Over to you,

Also, 'Old Hickory' was also a Nickname for Thomas Jackson, that was, before he got Stonewall as his name.

At the Battle of Monte Casino the 2nd Polish Corps used a animal who helped to move boxes of ammunition.

What kind of animal was it, and what was it's name?

That was a tricky one. [IMG]

    Operation Market Garden question.

How many of the bridge objectives were blown by the Germans before they could be secured by the Allies. Also name them.

    Peter

Don't forget Oosterbeek Laag railway bridge; blown up while men of Major Dover's C Company 2 Para were actually crossing.
