KG requests to speed up the counterattack and most of all the concentration of the tankunits in two groups and a quick reorganisation of its units.
Commander of 9th Panz Div. points out the troubles which occured because of the fact that the units were scattered constanly during the last few days.
K.G. Stresses once again that the 9th Panz Div has to be prepared to start finally the counterattack or else the counterattack will be too late. Notification of completion had to be reported immediately as soon as this is finished.

They have to gather in sector south west of Jülich as soon as possible, spearhead at Eschweiler.
Intention is to clear the situation in sector eastern of Aachen. Later organisation will be :

Arrival of first Artilleryunits of 12 Inf Div. expected at 22.00hrs. The units of the 2 Btl and Panz.JAg.kmp in the front positions of the securingline have to be deployed such that they can counterattack the enemy units which broke through at Eilendorf and the railroad Eilendorf- Atsch.

General von Schwerin still not arrived at Army HQ. Latest report says that the General wanted to visit the regiments before he left but he had to turn around because of artillery fire near Aachen.

FINALLY, after years of delay, Heroes of Old Hickory is out on DVD. This first release is NTSC (North American version). The European version should be released within a week or two.
