    try looking at http://www.freewargamesrules.co.uk/Rule ... _war_2.htm
They also do other periods in history.
I suggest you grab three or four (or all..) different sets, try them out and by that time you'll be going "but it doesn't f***ing work like that" at different points with EVERY single set you've got.
So you'll start to write your own. And then you'll find something you missed. And then you'll find an exception that crops up every 4th game. And then, and then, and then
you go mad, possibly bald and definitelysocially inept (women and the average pub-goer know bugger all about tanks and so stupid they pretend not to be interested when you tell them what you know). Welcome to the wonderful world of wargaming!!!

Wargamer for nearly forty years, and still haven't written a set of rules complete enough for publication

I popped in to my local gaming shop (Final Fantasy), which has a big stand of the Italeri wargame, Operation Overlord.

The guy there is quite enthusiastic about it, and it sounds quite a good game (although I'm a little unsure of how the card system works - I may pop in to watch a game in play).
However, my main interest is that they sell a variety of Italeri vehicle kits for £5 each...

I bought a Panther & a PzIV with the turret & hull skirts. I have a modelling project in mind...

I thought that your days of chasing after "skirt" were well and truly over now, what with recent events and all. ;) :D
