OK, except for Belgium?
Well, if you exclude Belgium, there's only the one country and one time and date: 22:56 EDT on 20th July 1969. Brave chaps.
Hold on boys! French were the first. Here's an original footage from 1902.
Damn...typical bloody French!
Are you sure????
music and movies...i have said a few years ago that the British (Irish in this instance) are the funniest bastards in the world! The list of classics is just too long...(Only fools and horses is NOT the best british comedy ever).
Canadians are over represented in world class comedians too
You are correct, imo. I would suggest 'hancock's half hour' but there's a lot of choice. Dad's Army is still being shown as remains as good as when first broadcast.
Yeah but once you start a hundred others barge in and demand recognition...! I could list at least 30 just off the top of my head...i want to say Monty Python, but then theres the goodies...and then theres steptoe and son...the two ronnies...Dick Emery...etc etc...: )
And Benny Hill ! Gosh how soon we forget.
Which brings up another British comic ; anyone know the whereabouts of our own Urgh ? miss that guy........................
I've only recently discovered Harry Enfield. He's great!
Here he (Enfield) is, talking about '...that Mister Hitler'.
Thanks a lot. It took me a long time to forget him, lots of hard work too. Now I'm going to have to start all over.
Scenery? I took these coming down the Alaska coast in the last week.

Awesome! The Territory here is sooo old...we dont have any mountains...barely a bump. : (
So, what kind of an accent do you have?
I think his marriage and our forum are incompatible.
HA. Was pondering that as well SD. Hopefully Urq hasn't jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Southern Mutt. A combination of Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisianan. People can tell I'm from the south, just not what part, however my accent isn't as pronounced as most other southerners. My wife is from Florida so her accent is southern but non-discript as well.
Okay, two things:
What do you call a carbonated beverage, regardless of its flavor or brand?
What wording do you use when you tell others you are about to do something?
