I hope that when you get to 20K your title changes to "The Man Behind the Curtain." Then we can debate whether that makes you the Wizard of Oz or Joe Stalin.

At the rate JC is going, he could stop typing today and still be ahead of just about everyone in 5 years. I begin to suspect that Otto is paying him by the post! Rather neo-Dickensian, actually.

Me too, he was a fixture here and it seems odd when I visit and don't see his posts.

I am sure I post this at my own peril. Hopefully the Cooler has been remodeled with the move to the new server.

Falkenberg was given a choice and in lieu of changing his habits he chose to leave. He's a grown man and understands the need for rules and guidelines and the consequences for stepping outside those limits.

The guy had incredible research skills and for that he should be commended; however, when a person fails to give credit, cite sources etc. then they are only doing half the work and taking all the laurels.
What most people will do is paraphrase and when their opinion is called to task they will cite sources or give supporting documentation.

A plagerist will copy and present a work as their own without citing a source and provide no documentation in support of their findings or opinions. It is also a crime when it is done for financial or social gain.

The bottom line is that he put the forum at risk and he did not fully appreciate the consequences of his action.
