    No.

    And about those Japanese cruisers:
Sakawa was used in the Bikini atomic bomb tests. But apparently Sakawa was never comissioned. Some other unfinished cruisers also 'survived' war.
    Myoko surely survived: http://www.combinedfleet.com/myoko_t.htm
    and apparently Takao too: http://www.combinedfleet.com/takao_t.htm
    Some others: http://www.combinedfleet.com/kitakami_t.htm
    http://www.combinedfleet.com/kashima_t.htm
Kashima wasn't 'real' cruiser but anyways...

Edit: apparently Sakawa was used operationally:

Yes. This was easier than I thought (or questions were smarter than I expected).

    Goeben, better know as Yavuz.

    Your turn.

well, the Goeben is originally German. they just give it to the Turkish because there was no way that it would get pass the british back to it's homeport.
anyway, that "sort of" did gave us the answer :)

As you say, sort of German narrowed it down to Goeben or Breslau (and sorry, Notmi, I think she was better known as Goeben, although served longer (much longer) as Yavuz.

OK, I have a fictional warship in mind....

Is that question 1? (Just Kidding)

The usual meaning of Fictional -- a ship that did not actually exist but featured in a work of fiction (TV series, Book, Movie, Graphic Novel etc).

Not SF, so you can forget various incarnations of the USS Enterprise!

I thought that only real warships can be used... However,

Q1; Does the ship appear in a book?
