I'm researching the lineage of the Joint Task Force 136 (Maneuver Enhancement Brigade). This unit carries with it the history of the 36th Quartermaster Company, which served under Texas' 36th Infantry Division in World War II.

By any chance, does anyone out there have any historical documentation or details about the World War II service of the 36th Quartermaster Company?

For context, the company later transitioned into other unit designations, such as the 111th Supply and Transport Battalion, the 111th Transportation Group, the 111th Support Group, the 136th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, and finally the Joint Task Force 136 (Maneuver Enhancement Brigade).

Thank you in advance for any information available!

    Respectfully,

    SFC Daniel Griego
Joint Task Force 136 (Maneuver Enhancement Brigade)
