    i just found this pic amonsgst my collection, allthough the quility is'nt brilliant, this was at the great warbirds air display at west malling airfield before the developers got their hands on it

    moving sideways a fraction,handley page airfield radlett is all but gone,and what remains! the airstrip,residents fighting to stop it turning into cargo rail freight terminal.... Handley Page: Radlett airfield

    Nice pic of British Aerospace' own Mossie T3, RR299. Both airfield and aircraft have now gone, RR299 in the tragic accident of 1996.

    Most Mossies didn't actually rot away after the war ; many started to deterioriate or become time-exopired after being left standing and were simply 'bonfired'......:(
