Hey, you did not say when you are leaving. Also one other problem you may encounter, you may get a drill instructer like Knight T
I will miss your posts when you are gone.

I'm leaving on July 3, a week after my high school graduation. Some people say Marines are better, but they forget to tell why. Still, Army is the best because even if you are in a 2ndrery unit you still get a chance to see some fighting.

    I'll take Forest Gump's* advice

    1. Always say "YES SIR"
    2. And do whatever the DI tells you

*The only person who was "special" before actually getting in the military.

Knight T and people like him are not able to join the military. In the military you serve to protect democracy not to destroy it.

LOL, V-Slav my man, you are a nut, but thats probably not a bad thing. The only advice I can think to pass on is the thing my old SSI told me when he heared I had applied for a commission, 'don't look too keen and never volunteer'. I guess the other regulars in here can support that. Keep us posted from time to time and buy a soap on a rope before you leave ;) .
