Naturally Israel and Jews around the world reacted and condemned his words. Jews don't kill Jews. Holocaust was not done by Jews.

A deal was never officially made or offered. Yeltsin's cash-strapped Russia looked into selling Karelia back for 15 Billion dollars, but never officially made an offer. Putin took a hard "no" on any plan to hand back Karelia.

 

They offered mid-Karelia which is a desert. Just like exchanging Texas to Sahara. A good deal? No no no. Massive bs.
