My latest German private . :dance4:

I've added many details including the butter box in the bread bag, chocolate, Reichmarks, a real skat game, pictures of the Heimat , awards and much more to make this one as complete as possible.

The jacket is an early model and the hose is cloth one, so they don't really match , but hey you don't get enough stuff for a German soldier every day, do you ?

I still need to add a few details (such as the "Y" shaped tragenriem, staps for the zeltbahn and pegs ) or a better strap for the gaskmask box, but I'm quite pretty with the overall result. The helmet is a M-42 model . The boots need new heels, but that's a detail . I hope you like it! Enjoy .

    Indeed, very impressive!

Are there real service glasses to go with the Dienst-Brille box?

Excellent display Skipper but I can't help thinking that the gas mask canister and M42 helmet would look so much better in my collection!

Thank you for the kind words gentlemen, yes I have the real dienstbrille , but on another mannequin (my DRK surgeon) .

The canister is awesome isn't it. It has the older M-36 mask inside with the metal parts painted blue. As to the M-42 lid it's the one I bought a couple of years ago at a local flea market.
