I think you might have nailed it, Martin. The ears though suddenly made me think of Mohnke...I have had headache about this for a while....
I don't think that it is Mohnke - he had a more oval face, with a strange 'chinless' look. Linge had a more squat, solid-looking face and was frequently photographed at Hitler's side.
