The jumpmaster would not let you step onto the aircraft without the "brain blotter" as we called it. I have never seen a fellow paratrooper to not have one, and quite a number of the more experienced jumpers always seemed to have extra ones, just in case.
Durn Jughead you're just a pup. (Good picture though) I haven't gotten my old pics out in years, I think it would be surreal to see that I was once that young. Let's see now in 1987 I was 29-30 and attending the Special Forces Q course. I'll dig out a 1987 picture and post it. Thanks Bobby, that was my recollection. Just wanted to make sure my recollections were accurate.
