Bunker Nr 021-155 was a Regelbau 631 Schartenstand für 4.7 cm Festungspak (t) = Casemate for 4.7 cm Fortress AT-gun, the (t) stands for tschechisch , czech in german, the guns were taken from tzechoslovakian bunkers of the Benes-Line.

More wonderful pictures and I'm surprised they are still more or less accessible depsite sand and fences here and there.

The submerged ones seem really attractive. I suppose finds could still be made under water.

There must be quite some stuff left in some bunkers, I guess even more in those that were sealed right after the war and then hermetically closed off by building projects.

Bunker Nr. 021-156, another Regelbau 623, please note the reconstructed shaft for the emergency exit! Another interesting detail is the fact that, inbetween this bunker and the twin bunkers 021-153 & 021-154, the anti tank ditch has been restored to it's original form and dimensions. In one of the previous posts I forgot to mention the correct designation of the Vorsatzplatte, it's : Schwere Stahlschartenplatte für MG 10P7.

Bunker Nr. 021-172, a Regelbau 630, I haven't come along to find a road to get near this one yet.

, yet another Regelbau 630, same story.....

    Bunker Nr. 021-179, a Regelbau 631 I haven't visited yet.

This is a Regelbau 680 Schartenstand für 7,5 cm PAK 40 = Casemate for 7,5 cm AT gun 40. The bunker number is not known.

View of the rear side of the bunker. The entry was closed with an armoured door made out of two or three parts. Either a Stahltür 494P2, a Stahltür 722P3 or a Stahflügeltür 836P6.

This bunker lies at the south-eastern corner of the Landfront, within sight of Stützpunkt Rommel (Fort Rammekens). It is a Regelbau 700 Schartenstand für 7,5 cm PAK 40 mit Deckenplatte = Casemate for 7,5 cm AT gun 40 with roof armoured plate. Instead of a steel concrete reinforced roof it had a thick armoured steel plate as top cover. This is the only remaining 700 on the whole AW as the type was built only a few times. The rationale of using scarce armoured steel instead of reinforced concrete was to keep the profile of the bunker as low as possible. The steel plate roof was made of two half-round steel pates that were connected with an armoured steel joint. Thickness was 22cm!!!! The steel plates had no official designation or code. Unfortunately the bunker was not opened when i visited so I can't show pictures of the interior with the steel plates. As there was a road built on top and the Scharte is sealed, nowadays one can only see the backside with the entry.

This is either Bunker Nr 021-159 or Nr 021-160.

I couldn't get near to it as it lies on fenced off private land.

Bunker Nr 021-161 is a Regelbau 631, built of Formblock.

Bunker Nr 021-162 is a Regelbau 134S Verwundetensammelstelle= casualty triage point, a variant of a 134 Munitionsunterstand ammo bunker that has been adapted to serve as a medical facility.

Wonderful, and right in the middle of constructed area. I can imagine children playing in the one near the football field, I suppose it's been secured.
