Female agents is quite good Ray and the girls are hot. It's a good action film too and historically quite accurate even though some typical "Holywoodian" inspired slips make some of the actions quite hypothetical.

OK, it's only 50% French, but I love 'The Train' which also has that 'French movie' atmosphere....

agree martin, a classic. and as you say! very atmospheric, I prefer the WWII B/W movies, it does give a real sense of the period...

I just watched 'Les Morfalous' again - I have to say the special effects and most of the realism are terrible, but if you forgive Kelly's Heroes for that too, I still think it needs to be on the list, it's a good fun film. No history value at all though, except perhaps a sense of how the French saw their part in ww2 by the eighties. Still great fun :)

The Morphalous is mostly for entertainment and humor, and has no pretention on historical accuracy, it's a fun film if you want to spend a ice evening and if you take it as such you'll like it.

You know - I actually noticed the '57 Willys more than the AMX, because I had one a while back - it's so easy to get distracted eh?

And I intend to see taxi 2 t asap, thanks.

Also for Sniper - I just got 'female agents' and from a flick through it looks as good as it sounds - will report back soon :)

    Just watched Female Agents.

Fabulous film. (only criticism at all was that they managed to show the VE celebrations including 2 people waving upside down union flags - but that's just nitpicking :))

    Definite 'must watch'. :)

Thoroughly enoyed it. I'm not onef or brutallity, and especially when it comes to women, but the film sets the tone, and the times, so it's all part of what took place then. and how..well done to ladies who prtayed them...and you know some are'ntgoin to make it back..which is sad..but recommend it? I do, as too ! "army of crime"..another brilliant french film....
