Oh well, I hoped to get some first hand experience about that kind of guns. Just being curious.

One thing about a Desert Eagle, if you don't hit them they'll still die from the fear. I'd like to fire one just once to say I did.

I've been fortunate to see a Desert Eagle .50AE(Action Express) fired. It has the most impressive muzzle blast I've ever seen.A bright orange ball of flame the size of a basketball.I also felt a wash of warm air every time the guy in front of me fired it.WAAAAAYYYYY COOL!!!!!!

Is the deserteagle an Isrealies piece, I think I have seen it in some movies (forgot which one). I don't know if I can handle such a beast though. I will probably be happy to have a 38 - 40 caliber with a 15-20 round cartridge with less kick. That way I can at least hit my victim, multiple times if need be.

Sounds like a Gloch? Or maybe a Barreta??

I believe Desert Eagle was designed by company called Magnum Research and originally made by IMI (Israel Military Industries).

Edit: Yes, some milder cartridge might be better for most shooters, easier to shoot and guns are easier to carry. I was personally interested in some new FN High Power 9mm gun but it had some problems. Also FN Five-Seven catched my interest but it is hard for civilian to get lisence for that in Finland.

The Desert Eagle .50 pistol was Vinnie Jones' ("Bullet Tooth"s) sidearm in the movie "Snatch".

Vinnie Jones is just about the size of Schwarzenegger, and more serious. :D Probably Arnie used it too in one of his movies, but the name of the weapon wasn't mentioned AFAIK.

If I told you that "Schwarz" means black, would you still call Schwarzenegger "Schwarzenigger"? :D

What do you mean, puns? He typed Schwarzenigger. Schwarz really does mean black. It's actually a pun I've used in a comic I made some time ago, but it sort of falls flat if you don't know German.

So while Shwarzenegger is just an Austrian name, Schwarzenigger means black negro.
