I thought only the Germans bought the best and most expensive car their paycheck and bank credit allowed?

As opposed to the Brits who buy the most expensive car that a loans company will allow them to. :D

    IMZ- Ural 2WD

military version - factory demo (can be used from -40C to +50C):

    same bike as touring version:

    Snow, mud whatever:

750ccm and only 40 horses (but they are Pinzgaures not some fidly arabians as in karate motorbikes)

    For guys from former YU:
Zabranjeno pušenje - Yugo 45 (Bosnian band Smoking prohibited - Yugo 45 funy & serious song obout Yugo 45 and living in 80's and 90's YU):

Now show me some other a car that has a song dedicated to it.
    The beggining of the song:

    Kažu, da su čuda svjeta
    piramide afričke
    kažu, da su čuda svjeta
    velike reke jedine
    Al nijedno čudo
    nije ravno bilo onome
    kad je stari uparkiro
    u bašću Yugo četrdest i pet (45)
Skupio se sav komšiluk i pola rodbine...

    eng:
They say that wonders of the world
    are piramids od africa
they say that wonders of the world
    are the wide rivers
but no wonder was equal to that
when old man (father) parked yugo 45 on the driveway.
Entire streat and half of family gathered....

Besides the point. Buying a Yugo because its the best you can afford is like buying cow excrement because you cannot afford meat. You'd be better off with spare change for some bread, or a bicycle.

That is a very technologically innovating motorcycle, for about 1970.

Acctualy it is much improved BMW R-71 (whith improvements from captued BMW R-75's = ceppelin wheel drive) from 1930's when SSSR bought the licence for this bikes so you are around 35 years off ;) . Same goes for Dnieper series. This one is still improved (brakes, cluch, gear box...) from earlier models. BTW It's the only Russian bike that can be bought in US.

Well, whatever floats your boat. I prefer to have my bikes WITH the latest off-roading refinements and inventions discovered in the last few decades.

    Yugo 45 Triple Edition

A few guys in Slovenia (city of Maribor) goofing off. Interesting they drove past police (blue van with Policija on it) and they didn't stop them.
