Urqh, to put me in the same class as Clint does me a real honor. Thanks to both of you for that. There are many that keep me here, and you two are among those. Thanks.

Very sorry to hear this news. Clint, keep up the fight knowing that your fellow rogues will be praying and pulling for you. Though it is sad that you are resigning as Moderator, it is good that you are doing what's best for you right now. I hope you will still chime in from time to time as you are able. Your thoughtful insights are always appreciated. Take care.

Clint,my thoughts are with you. Hang in there and fight this terrible disease with all your might and never give up hope...no matter what. It's understandable that you have stepped down as a mod but please call back here as much as you are able to as I, like others, always find your posts enlightening and informative.

I was lured to this board by Clint from the old THC board where he had been a great asset. Here's hoping he continues to be an asset around here for a long time.

    Clint,

I enjoy your knowledge and your humor. Thinking of you as you take care of yourself. Your posts will simply be much more enjoyable and prized, being a little rarer while you do that. And I look forward to the time when you are back to full strength, both your health and your posts.

Many positive thoughts coming your way.

    Clem

Glad to see you were on line today, my friend. I'm sure you are fighting the good fight. Loved the Roy Rogers quote. Many prayers for your rapid recovery, Clint.

I've been absent from the Forums for a few weeks and have just logged on. I'm distressed to see this news.

Clint - you are very much in my thoughts. May you return to good health as soon as possible !

Clint, my most sincere thoughts are with you. As a relative newcomer here it did not take me long to recognize your vast knowledge always backed with sources . I even more appreciate your even handedness
and ability to give clarity to "bumpy" threads. Discussions of war often stir deep divisions and emotions but your sense of self discipline tinged with subtle humor always comes thorough. I think it not important for you to win an argument but rather to help others understand better and further knowledge. You should have been a professor!

I look forward to future post , you have an amazing bunch of friends and supporters here on this great forum.

    Warmly,

    Gaines

Clint, I just learned today of your current status. Sorry to hear that you've been laid up friend. We've gone back and forth over different items of interest and non-interest over the years, but that don't mean we ain't friends still.

We felt/still feel Mr.Clints ripples [lol, not nipples] here in Lethbridge AB. Not far from where he rules...That man gets/got around. He had some intel on Lethbridge high school basketball back in the-50's? Maybe caused a blue on blue rumble...
He stayed after honeymooning back in the 70's at the hotel my great grandfather helped to build, the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton... Bodyguard to Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra on the 31st floor behind a gold plated door during their nuptials in '58,...Correct me on any inconsistencies BD1. ..Care to post a highschool pic Mr C?...There are some octogenarians waiting for revenge here. lolo. Peace brother.

I just read this today after being such an infrequent and inconsistent member in the last few years. I am very distressed to know I was not here to give support to Clint who was always my friend here and who privately encouraged me with my health battles including 2 cancer scares. I had already sent him a private message that I was back and hoped that he would get it via an email at least, as I saw he had not been here since 2013 and to see today why has me concerned. If someone has any information or update please send me a Private Message. Thank you.
