Given the current situation a whole forum might be necessary . With it's own administration.!

Willie and Joe, and Dr. Seuss spring immediately to mind.

    Yeah, "isolationism" verses "war-mongering", etc.

I'm wondering where to put it? Here in the Art section seems arguable as it is art, but these cartoons all have a heavy political stance, so possibly it could go better elsewhere?

The cartoons are not strictly WW2 related, correct? If not, maybe a new area in Miscellaneous items. If they are strictly WW2 items, then a sub in WW2 Activities.

I'd be doing only WWII, but I don't know about everybody else. We might have one for "anything not WWII" in The Stump? If it would kill the deal to have it outside The Stump I'd be okay with having it there. This current sub might not be the best place for "art" done by other people at that.

If it's identified as"WW2 Political Cartoons", we could dump extraneous items in the Stump, or if extreme, in the Latrine.

I'm game on a forum for WWII cartoons. I like them a lot.

If we did a current sub for current political cartoons, make it post cartoon only, no discussion?

Looks like two subs. One for WW2 cartoons, the other for current political cartoons. I like the idea of there being no discussion. That way we can draw from all types without nasty comments. There are liberal and conservative cartoons, so post away. Most make good points.

Rather than restricting chatter in posts, it seems like a gallery would suit this better. The gallery is shut off right now, but will be opened once we move to the new software next month.

I just created the Political Cartoon area here, the appropriate non-chatter gallery will follow in July.
