Unfortunately I won't have time to post anything today and I don't want to hold up the thread. So, if anyone wants to take my place feel free.
ok , this can't be that hard... He's Waffen SS... Involved in Malmedy Massacre. He organized the execution of top leaders of the SA on the night of long knives.
Try to give just one answer at a time. It might not be in direct violation of the rules but to me it just seems silly if every time a picture is posted up we just blindly list off a bunch of SS officers (or whatever the picture calls for). If you are going to guess you should actually have a legitimate answer. Dietrich is correct but we'll wait for sunny's confirmation
Grr ..found him already they look alot alike .. Schreck ..He's got a thinner nose .. but the pic shows the name too
OK , hope this guy's not too difficult : Who is the person standing on the left to Marshall Montgomery in this pic ? He's a German by birth .and had a pre WW2 S.S. past , but here seen wearing a british uniform with Dutch insignia on it talking like old 'chum's with Monty .. He had a passion for flying and was a pilot but was also a lot more than that . enjoy Clue : There was a brigade founded during the war years operating from out of England named after one of his daughters !
